Don’t miss this one!

Not only will the October event be a great one but we’ll be announcing another great one in November! There will not be a December breakfast but the January event will be awesome including a couple of very special awards: a couple of people will be presented with awards from the following categories:

January Kick-off and Awards

Grand Contributor - chosen for their level of contribution and assistance in perpetuating and growing SMB Atlanta
People’s Choice – selected by you, the attendees, as the one person who stands out as a favorite presenter, participant
Most Engaged - Google will help choose this person as will a couple of other third party Eigenspace analyzers
Most Dependable – the person who has been most consistent in their attendance and support

There will be a couple of other categories announced as well and at least one you can “compete” for in the months of November and December.

OCTOBER 2010 Laura Scholz
http://laurascholz.com

Laura Scholz

Laura Scholz runs. She runs her social connections with true care. She runs her blog with gusto. She runs her Public Relations business with passion. She runs her fight against cancer with focus and, according to her tweet at 11AM on Saturday morning she just ran 16 miles. I can’t drive 16 miles.

Any visit to Crave Atlanta will deliver Laura’s pointed discoveries and color commentary – always stated with class and elegance. In fact Laura is the third speaker for Social Media Breakfast Atlanta who is a contributor to crave. She joins Maura Neill of 365 Atlanta and Taryn Pisaneschi of Women Intelligently Networking.

http://thecravecompany.com/atlanta/

Laura’s blog is filled with enough great content to create an entire Lifetime series. The people she admires, the work she loves, the experiences she has, and even some very personal glimpses like the passing of a friend, her occasional bouts with depression and the celebration of life are just part of the seasoning in her masterfully created word stew. Through her blog I have run with her, smiled with her, cried with her, and my heart has warmed when she writes about a friend with admiration such as her story about SXSW and my friend Sarah Evans creator of #journchat.

http://laurascholz.com/blog

According to Laura’s Twitter stream we do a lot of the same things, share many passions and stay up too late watching sports … especially the Braves. She is also a good facilitator of connections and I appreciate her multi-handshake tweets. Our shared Facebook connections are a mashup of some really great friends and people I simply enjoy following. If you are connected with Laura already it’s not a news flash that she is amicable, personable, engaging and inspiring. Her Twitter profile says a lot …

“PR 2.0 advocate/agency owner. Connector. Writer. Pretend foodie. Marathoner. Cancer hater. Cheese dip addict. Red wine lover. City mouse. Natural blonde.”

Join us on October 21, 2010 at 8AM to meet Laura in person and hear her deliver what is bound to be an inspiring speech and engaging presentation.

Register for FREE at Eventbrite http://smbatl15.eventbrite.com/

SPONSORSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE:

There are three ways to sponsor

Event sponsorships are available for $50 each, there are two slots. This includes being able to address the attendees for 5 minutes just prior to the keynote speaker. You will also be mentioned in the “thanks to these sponsors” in the next invitation for the next event.

Title sponsorship is available for $100 and obviously there is only one of these. We will change the “title” of the event to Atlanta Social Media Breakfast with “Key Note” presented by “Your Name”. Your information will also be added here on the website (as well as at Eventbrite) and your information will be included in the next invitation – up to 200 words, an image and a link.

Donation sponsorship – depending on the relevance and value of the item presented for a door prize, tech evaluation or other. Contact Ken at 678-439-8683 to make arrangements.
